【摘要】:Methanolisusedinproductionofcrudeoiltopreventformationofgashydrates.Thepresenceofresidualmethanolincrudeoilscanleadtocostlyproblemsinrefineryoperations.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofmethanolincrudeoilsbydirectinjectionmultidimensionalgaschromatographyintheconcentrationrangeof15to900ppm(m/m).Thepooledlimitofquantification(PLOQ)is15ppm(m/m).1.2Thistestmethodisapplicableonlytocrudeoilscontaininglessthanorequalto0.1%(v/v)water.1.3Thistestmethodhasnotbeentestedwithcrudeoilsamplesthataresolidorwaxy,orboth,atambienttemperatures.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Alternateunits,incommonusage,arealsoprovidedtoincreaseclarityandaidtheusersofthistestmethod.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
