【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidanceonaHighLevelSecurityPolicyforthirdcountryorganisationsandisrestrictedtoaspectsrelevanttopersonalhealthdatatransferredfromacompliantcountrytoathirdcountry(seedefinitions).ThisEuropeanStandardprovidesguidanceontheHighLevelSecurityPolicywhichshouldbeadoptedbythirdcountryorganisationsinvolvedininternationalinformaticsapplicationswhichentailtransmissionofpersonhealthdatafromanEUMemberStatetoanon-EUMemberStatewhosedataprotectionisinadequateinthecontextoftheEUDataProtectionDirective[1].ItspurposeistoassistintheapplicationoftheEUDirective.TheEuropeanStandarddoesnotprovidedefinitivelegaladvicebutcomprisesguidance.Whenapplyingtheguidancetoaparticularapplicationlegaladviceappropriatetothatapplicationshouldbesought.WhereasthisguidancewillbeusefulintheformulationofahighlevelpolicyforEUorganisations,itsscopeisrestrictedtoorganisationsinthirdcountries(seedefinitions).
